(Hall) Resident Parking

Students living in Residence Halls may purchase a Residence Hall Permit ($195/year) or a Perimeter Permit ($85/year).

Residence Hall Permits allow parking in the areas marked as "GREEN" Residence Hall Lots and the All-Zone Perimeter Lots at any time. After 5 p.m. M-F and on weekends, most other areas become open for vehicles displaying a valid Texas State Permit. There is ample space for (Hall) Resident parking, but there is NO guarantee that a space close to one’s hall will always be available. There will be times when the closest space may be in a Perimeter Lot. Parking Services provides an evening shuttle service and other safety escort services from the Perimeter Lots (245-SAFE).

Perimeter Permits allow parking in the Perimeter Commuter and All-Zone lots at any time. After 5 p.m. M-F and on weekends, most other areas become open for vehicles displaying a valid Texas State Permit. Parking Services provides an evening shuttle service and other safety escort services from the Perimeter Lots (245-SAFE).

Hall Residents should apply on-line at Parking Services for their permit as soon as a Residence Hall housing code is available. Permits should be ordered well in advance of arriving on campus to allow time for them to be mailed.
