Mill Street/Residence Hall Permits
"The Gold Permit"
Students living on campus in residence halls have the option to purchase a Gold Mill Street/Residence Hall Permit. This permit is a "Park-and-Ride" style permit where vehicles are parked at the Mill St Parking Lot and bus service is available to central campus.
How much does it cost?
$115
It is valid from August 7, 2023 through August 10, 2024.
If you wait to bring your car to campus until the spring or summer sessions, the cost to purchase a permit will be prorated.
When to park at the Mill St Lot
Vehicles with a Gold Mill Street Permit may not park in any parking zone other than the park in the Mill Street Lot (P12) between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday -Thursday, and between 7 a.m. and noon on Fridays.
When parking in other zones is available
After 5 p.m. and on weekends vehicles displaying a Gold Permit may park in most parking zones. Commuter spaces located in C12 and C13, and carpool spaces, may be used after 3 p.m. Green Zones may be used after noon on Friday.
Getting back and forth from the Mill St. Lot
There are many options for students parking in the Mill St. lot.

Home Football Games
Students with a Gold Mill Street/Residence Hall Permit may be required to move their vehicles for home football game days.
Rules and Regulations
All students are required to register with Parking Services any vehicle they drive and park on campus and purchase the appropriate color parking permit. Parking rules are enforced every day of the year. Please read our full Rules and Regulations for all the details.
